Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000, with an average of $2,500. Build-A-Bear Workshop also provides gift certificate donations

July’s featured NetLibrary title (free this month for all TSLAC NetLibrary users) is a graphic novel of Beowulf. The full Myths and Legends series by Graphic Universe is available in print from Lerner Publishing.
VACANCY -
Duties include advising and assisting library patrons and may require lifting up to 60 pounds frequently. An Associate’s degree, or equivalent, from an accredited college or university with a major in liberal arts or a related field and one year of library experience required. Must have knowledge of library practices and computers and have excellent customer service skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills beneficial. Hours may vary and include evenings and weekends. Clerical and typing test may be required. Posting closes July 15.
